What Is Opus?
The Opus Plasma is a nonsurgical resurfacing treatment that uses fractionated plasma energy and radiofrequency to heal and enhance the skin on the surface and into the deeper layers. It uses unipolar energy emitted from its metal pins to react with the air and generate plasma. This creates micro injuries in the skin to stimulate new collagen and elastin to be produced.

What Should I Know Prior To My Appointment?
- 6 months prior no accutane
- 14 days before, no laser treatments & avoid sun exposure
- 7 days prior, increase water intake & avoid alcohol
- 3 days prior, No peels, facials, exfoliants, topical antibiotics, exfoliating masks, or hydroquinone
- Advise practitioner if you’re prone to cold sores
Day Of Treatment Instructions
- Stop any skincare that has active ingredients in it at least a 1-2 weeks before appointment
- Avoid lotion, creams, makeup or deodorant in area to be treated. Arrive with clean, washed skin with no make-up
- No active cold sores or sun burns in area to be treated
- Hydrate prior to treatment
Post Treatment Instructions
First 24 hours:
- Avoid sun exposure, exercise, saunas, jacuzzis, or heat
- hydrate!
- Keep skin dry and avoid putting any product on skin!
For the next 5 days:
- Redness is expected to last up to 24-48 hours
- If light scabbing occurs, aquaphor can be applied as needed
- Skin can be GENTLY cleansed, moisturized and apply sunscreen
- On day 5, make up can be applied again
